Google bathroom handicap accessible sinks.

The wheel chair accessible bathrooms I have seen enable the wheel chair user to roll under the sink.

I don't understand how a lower depth sink would make the bathroom more accessible since the height of the cabinet is the same and would limit her ability to reach the faucets. The actual depth of the sink seems immaterial to functionality.

Hi Helen - I don't want a lower depth sink I want a very shallow sink, not deep. the whole point is so she can wheel under the sink, so if the sink is too deep then she can't. And yes, if the counter is too high, she can't reach the faucets, exactly. So I'm working with a limited height of the counter and also need her knees to fit under the sink.

And cpartist - I have googled that. it's not helping!

Thanks Deb, I have tried that as well. The ADA Compliant sinks that I have found are still too deep.

I searched under bathroom sink 5" high bowl ada and lots of options came up.

Live wire oak - I'm not only looking for only ADA design - but a specific person design. And no, I don't need a wall hung sink. Although, that could be an option but one I'm not interested in.

I will likely get the sink made to fit my specifications. Thanks for all of the help!
