Jacob’s Ladder dilemma

Have never made this pattern, but love some of the photos. So I found a pattern in one of my books and made a lot of hst blocks in red/muslin.


Now, looking at them, the 4” (finished) size looks very big. The four patch blocks are 4”, so 2” each piece.


I’m worried it will look like a beginner quilt. I have come to prefer quilts with thousands of tiny pieces.


So, do I finish it, or make smaller hsts and some other pattern? What pattern?
