M - which range do you have?

I have a Bluestar 30" RNB. I love it. It's a cooking machine. Built like a tank. Reliable. And very predictable. It's a joy to cook on.

But I also understand the appeal of induction. For our remodel I very carefully evaluated whether to get induction or keep the Bluestar gas range. Eventually, gas won. And I think I made the correct decision for our household. But I can understand other families reaching a different conclusion.

The one thing I can't say enough good things about though is our new Miele CSO. It's a game changer -- especially when cooking for larger parties

My induction is cooktop with wall ovens . I always had used gas but found it an easy transition to induction. Not familiar with induction oven combos.

That layout worked best for us too but I didn’t like the ranges. We did a Miele induction with a Miele wall oven underneath.

We have a Kitchen Aid induction cook top (36 inches, 5 burner) and put a wall oven underneath as the layout was better for us too. We are very happy with our set up and we cook often.

If you also have a steam oven - where is it located in your kitchen?

I have an induction range --the LG -- and I'm very happy with it (I've had it almost 2 years). The oven is a good, standard electric oven, and I ADORE the induction stove top. I also have a countertop combo steam/convection oven.

For an induction range with twin ovens, you could consider the GE/Haier Cafe model CHS950P4MW2. They've been out long enough for us to have had two threads on them. This one had over 230 posts as of the end of last month.

FWIW, we purchased a wall oven and induction cooktop. That way we got the best of both, don't have to bend over, and if one goes out, we can still cook. My opinion is that this combination is a far more functional setup than any range.

Post your layout in the kitchen forum and maybe they can help you to get a separate cooktop and ovens. Maybe all you need is someone thinking a bit differently to get it to work. :)
