Hi Jennifer. Thanks for reaching out. The fireplace has a custom concrete over the top of it. We were originally thinking of using steel plates and then also looked at a brushed aluminum panel.

A lot of the light fixtures were purchased through restoration hardware. The one over the stairs and the lights over the center island were both purchased through them as well. The deck material is a concrete finish over a solid surface plywood deck. We used a company named RAD concrete. They use a synthetic material which they guarantee. They do excellent work and can make it look like wood, tile, or any other design you can come up with. They usually range between $12 to $18 per square foot depending on the design. Have a great day!
