Ha ha, so it goes. I saw the prettiest rainbow colored beetle yesterday. Interesting critters out and about.

I think it is a human converted into a wasp by a spell. When was the last time you saw your husband ?

Thanks, roselee! That last one made me giggle a bit -- it's as if he was staring straight at me, saying: "Are you quite finished yet?!" I didn't want to get too close right away, so started snapping pictures 5' out; then got closer and closer. Must have taken 30 shots of this little guy.

I wish butterflies would pose like 'your' winged fly and anoles do.

Butterflies are too busy being exuberant and enjoying life to waste time posing for us mere mortals. ;)

I wish this really pretty beetle would have had more patience with me to take a better picture. But he was on the run.
