This unknown variety of a Blue Hosta was grown from a seedling given to me by my sister-in-law. You can see how big it is compared to my full grown cat. This is one of my favorites and contrasts nicely with Sum n' Substance Hostas.

Don, I have a lot of "favorites." Not sure which one to chose to display here. But I will say the hosta above is one that attracts my eye. I bought it unnamed a long time ago. I think it is Brim Cup. I know that Brim Cup can have drawstring because I had one before and that's what it did. So far, so good with this one this year. Not every year is a good year.

I will also say a favorite is Clear Fork River Valley---more corrugated as it matures. You can see Prairie Moon beside it. I like the two of them together. (Sorry I don't have a better picture of Prairie Moon now.)

I'm happy my GE is finally looking pretty good. I've had it a long time.

djacob, the color pattern is similar to Thunderbolt but Thunderbolt is corrugated. This one silky smooth and very blue. The leaves are very substantial also. I have several Dream Queens as well and this one is very different. Thanks for trying to identify it.

Jon, Could your NOID be High Society...or maybe that's too small? A beautiful hosta whatever it's name might be. If it gets ID'd I'm putting it on my 2020 wish list.

Mae, High Society seems like a very good match. It surely could be. I would hope that if I heard the name it would ring a bell, but that may be wishful thinking. Thank you. Some of the photos in the Hosta Library look like dead ringers.

One of my very favorites that I rarely see posted is Paradise Joyce.

Even the cutworms have gotten to this one.

Sagae is really shining this year. It is a bad year for cutworms. Never had them before, but lots of damage this season. So much worse than slugs.
