You need some warmth of natural materials to warm up a pretty chilly space. Maybe a rattan look, or a bent wood in a natural maple.

IMO you don't need any additional color.

Firstly, you have a very nice new kitchen! Secondly, you need some color, stat! :)

Navy stools would not be "too much blue" because you hardly have any blue at all. And navy is more of a neutral or base color, not really what the space is screaming for which is COLOR! :)
