I don’t think it looks bad at all, but I can understand being frustrated if it’s not what you were hoping for. They’ve only done the short side so far it seems; maybe you can switch them out for a smaller size for not too much money at this juncture? What size were you hoping for? An inspo pic might help. For what it’s worth, I think it could look really beautiful once it’s all done and with a vibrant runner to offset the darker tones.

Looks beautiful. Are you over analyzing? Maybe. Will you forget all about this 1 month down the line when you have something else to worry about? Probably. But if you hate the balusters, change them. Why are you stuck with them?

Ugh I’m really sorry! But you definitely aren’t stuck with them. If you hate them that much, I’d at least ask them to price out replacements when they come today - and show them the inspo pic!

My s/o ordered them and they took over 4 weeks to come in. We want to move in to the house so we can’t push things out any longer. The guys that are installing them are booked out as well. He doesn’t want to go through the hassle and just wants to move in.
