My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

ductless air conditioning estimate - feedback please!

I'd love to get some thoughts around the quote we have received for installing a ductless air conditioning system in our home.


We have a 2100 sq foot house, and are looking to install one 24,000 btu unit downstairs, and one 9,000 btu unit in the master bedroom (2 zones).


The estimate we got for a Fujitsu system (includes all the bells and whistles: installation, 12 year warranty for parts and equipment, 1 year warranty for labor, etc) was $12k.
