Pendants over the sink are not a good idea just the same pot loght there as the rest and if you want to jazz up the window do a roman blind in a print to go with the new decor.By the way make sure the new pots are 4” and have 4000K bulbs to make choosing colors a lot easier since then the colors look the same at night as they do in the day.

Looking at the photo and your question, my first thought was wall sconce...and then I read your post. I think you should follow your gut and go with the wall sconce. I think two will look great and yes, three would be too many. Great inspiration photo as well.

I've been looking at the armed sconces (no, lets not go there!) and think something like these may fit the bill. Some arms reach out too far. These are only 12-18" I believe.

Scones will just be hard to reach and to clean. I have a pot light over in front of my sink area but it is the kind that is aimed just at the sink. It is NOT directly over the sink but just slightly behind where I stand when at the sink. I've had it now for 16 years and like it very much.

Ah, that's super nice, Beth! I haven't picked out my cabinet handles/pulls/whatever yet, but am thinking likely black or at least an oil rubbed bronze. I'll have stainless steel appliances. I know people mix more than that but it makes me nervous so I'd probably want the sconce colour to be white and blackish. What you linked to has that as an option, though I have to admit it's not quite as nice as the one you linked to!

lol, grover, yes, "dinning" is another one that pops up here fairly more than "scones." There's also "mantle."

Oh groveraxle I need those scone sconces for my hubby. He rolls his scones on a12x24 tile sample and Puts sconces on spec sheets. Those LFT make great trivets too.
So are those a high or low kelvin scones? Sadly most are high calorie lol.
