Need rug placement help

I'm not sure how to design this room. I need a rug to pull the room together and to put under my grand piano. I'm either putting the piano in front of the window or along the stairs. The legs of the piano need to be on the rug. I bought this 10x14 but it doesn't fit right so I'm returning it. How can I post a picture?
