Wow - you're on rebloom and I'm barely on 1st blooms here! Blazing Saddles always catches my eye, but Willow Dean Smith is so beautiful to me today I might choose it as my favorite.

Lovely bunch! Wizard's Wish and Jeanne Deaver's Dream are my favorites of these, though I could go on and on about some of the others.

Alex - My first blooms started on May 17, so my season has been going for awhile. It usually ends about the middle of July.

'Wow' on Purple Passion's Promise! It's a purple-lover's dream daylily! Willow Dean Smith never takes a bad picture (unlike those of us who wander for hours in scorching hot daylily fields....lol). I like everything you posted. Indian Ripple looks awesome. I have some seedlings out of Rainbow Maker and hope they inherit it's looks. If you need a home for Shadow Dream Song, I need more Hansons. I saw it growing at a place in Vermont (Crossview Gardens) and it had more color than yours, so it would love it here.

If you are getting rid of part of Wizard's Wish, I would love a start . I tried to order it from someone last fall, but they were out. Betty Bush is really eye catching with all those fringy teeth. Jeanne Deaver's Dream is a nice looking purple, and also Purple Passion's Promise, I always like purples. Forty Days here started off great, lots of buds and larger than normal flowers, but the flowers dwindled in size as it got close to ending. I got a single fan of Regal Finale in trade last fall, it is looking pretty puny. Hopefully it will do better next year.

Maryl - I agree the edges on Betty and Purple Passion are the icing on the cake. They make them look extra special. As you know, I'm a sucker for white edges.

Lots to love in these pictures! I have to pick the purples as my favorites, Jeanne Deaver's Dream and Purple Passion's Promise... and Betty Bush is right up there too, along with Blazing Saddles.

Betty Bush looks great! And I still love Blazing Saddles. They really all look good. The purples are standouts! And you can’t beat Willow Dean when she looks like that! Lovely lilies, all. I admire your tenacity in cutting down but your seedlings are so beautiful I understand why you would want to concentrate on those.

I’m giving props today to Baja California and Regal Finale, I love that purple. My new Little Light of Mine from Kay is sending up a scape, thought it might be in shock after our bad winter and spring, hope mine looks this good at some point. I dug up two iris today in the awful heat and humidity, I must be nuts. I have a space now and would love a piece of your seedling! Something had to go to add something new!

Sherry - I'm thrilled that you will be growing my Chance Encounter seedling. I forgot to say that it's a dormant. It should work well in your climate.

Very pretty post, as usual, Debra. Glad to see Little Light of MIne is reblooming for you. It is one you can count on to rebloom. I have never seen Willow Dean smith tht it didn't strie me as a very lovely bloom. Rainbow Maker looks so pretty. I was surprised at how well it did it first year here. All of the pinks are really pretty. Regale finale is giving quite a nice performance too.

Kay - Little LIght seems to be a reliable rebloomer. I'm so glad you shared that one with me!

There are things with rebloom scapes that have never rebloomed here. Does Wizard's Wish open fairly well? White Tooth looks good. Some have complained that Ranibow Maker is low bud count. Blazing Saddles here has about 7 buds, but the bloom is definitely impressive. Maybe slightly more this year. Unfortunately, that's typical of the Hansens here, but I don't have that many.

Mantis - Wizard's Wish opens well here and multiplies like crazy. White Tooth has four rebloom scapes now. I'm very pleased with that one. Rainbow Maker still has a fairly low bud count here - 7-11 per scape, and the flowers are much smaller than registered. They are larger than when I had it in a pot (5 inch range), but still just under 7 inches. Blazing Saddles has 11-14 buds here this year. It had up to 18 on the previous plant that I grew in a pot.
