The window in our main bathroom is driving me nuts. The previous owner dealt with the awkward gaps caused by bullnose tile at the base by gluing/caulking what I think are aluminum weather strips around the perimeter of the window. I removed the caulking around the window earlier this week and really have no idea how to work with this. I was hoping to remove the weather stripping, but I'm not sure that's even possible. I'd like to add PVC framing, as the window is partially in the shower. Is it possible to remove the tile inside the window frame (see red lines in last two pics) -- or am I asking for trouble disturbing the original tile? Is there a solution I'm not considering? Please chime in with any thoughts. Thank you!
