Who made these Butterflies?

A while ago, 2013 or 14 - unsure, at the YMCA Camp Cheerio retreat with some of you ladies, there were a bunch of hand appliqué butterflies on a “freebie” table. I recall Sue took some and I picked up a dozen or so, and once they got home, they sat on my shelf. Well I decided this afternoon to assemble a quilt for the foster care program and I want to acknowledge the maker of these butterflies. Soooo...does anyone know who made these ??? ( I’ll post a pic once the quilt is completed).

If I remember correctly, Jackie got these at an estate sale. These are the two quilts I made with the ones I got. Sue

Thanks Sue...I could not remember the origin of those butterflies. Yours are lovely,! I finished the top, now on to sandwich, quilt and bind. Mine is going to the charity that provides children in foster care a backpack filled with personal items they can call their own.

What a great cause! I did zigzag very tight stitches around each butterfly when I was in the quilting process because some of the edges weren't finished very well on the butterflies. Good luck on your finish!

Both the quilts by Sue and the blocks put together by Valarie look great! I love the idea of scrappy sashing. Guess that means I’m trying to get over my being “sashing challenged?”

Yes, I did get those at an estate sale. They came with a gazillion sunbonnet sues. LOL
