Newbie to Orchid - part 2

last modified: 7 years ago

Hi, I received so much good advice the last time I posted that I am back! My orchid has finally dropped it's blooms after months of flowering - it seems healthy, but according to my internet research I can now cut it back - or not. The internet is a confusing place lol.

I am currently using watered down fertilizer 3x a month, followed by a water 'rinse' during the fourth week of the month. The plant does have a cracked leaf - but, I am pretty sure it was due to low humidity - it hasn't worsened since I got the rock/water combo underneath it. Anyway, I appreciate any advice yall might have on what to do now that the orchid has lot it's blooms - thank you!!
