Love the color on Jamie Dockery. Soul on Fire looks really good, such intense color. Oh my goodness, what a show Ribbit Ribbit will give you, so many buds! Have a rabbit or two in the yard as usual. Not much destruction by them this year, last year was a rabbit disaster. This season a neighbor cat “took care of” the baby bunnies in my yard.

Jamie Dockery is always such a beautiful purple in your photos. What a clump of Ribbit Ribbit! My favorite photo is the one with Mexican Magic and the coreopsis. What is the daylily in back of Mexican Magic? Although my Peter Rabbit disappeared. A new, smaller baby bunny was spotted in the garden. Perhaps this one is Flopsie. I'm glad yours keeps to the clover.

I have only had problems with the bunnies and lilium. Cute little coreopsis in the one photo. Inca Prince shows its intensity in the sun shot, even if nuances are reduced. Yes, some cultivars have shorter scapes, but many on taller scapes too.

Those are beautiful shots of some lovely lilies! So many bright colors and Ribbit Ribbit puts new meaning to “multiplies well”!! I like the colors of Inca Prince and Til the End of Time.

Ribbit Ribbit is one I have always liked of yours...It is quite a performer. Inca Prince is a favorite of mine. and I really like Bluebird Sky, Gentle on My Mind and James Dockery. and Souls on fire looks wonderful! A lovely post, Julia.

At 15 years old my cat, Bubba Buster Brown, has turned into a wabbit hunter. Well, if they happen to wander into his outdoor kennel. Surprised us......So many beautiful daylilies. Gentle on My Mind, Inca Prince both are lookers. Of course I like Mexican Maiden because I have it. It's colorfast/sunfast for me and usually reblooms. It just got through blooming here. What is the other eyed daylily in front of it?..............Maryl

For some reason, I have though Ribbit was a smaller flower, I love that clump you have of it! I is huge, but i vet gorgeous. Soul on Fire is beautiful too. I got that this spring, can't wait til i get a show like that, it was nice for 1st year. I got Mexican Magic this spring too, and I like it so much. Saw some on our garden tours though, I think the flowers were twice the size of mine!

Mexican Magic is registered at 5 inch but many of mine appear smaller with some larger ones. Not an EMO here.

Ribbit Ribbit is a large flower at 8 inches but again typically not a EMO on chilly mornings like today at 66F. Once the temps rise it opens okay and flat.

Till The End Of Time - I cannot recall it ever being a "pink" color like Carpenters photo but I could be wrong as I moved it a couple of years ago and this is what the color has been ever since.I need to go back to my other computer and check prior year photos. Soil differences? I did get it from Carpenters several years ago. I think I sent some to mantis so maybe he could comment on what he sees in his garden if he still has it.

The rabbit managed to out run our cat yesterday evening. I was deadheading last night and heard a rustling in the bed where Ribbit Ribbit and others are and sure enough it came out running and my cat Marley took off after it. So Rabbit 1 - Marley 0.

I see that I never answered this. I also found that Jamie Dockery was on short scapes, and I note that Julia also complained about short scapes on it in 2018. I eliminated it, as I have low tolerance for cultivars that are acting up and there are many nicer purples. It may perform very differently in another climate. Till the End of Time here had very low bud count here and short scapes. I find that some other Carpenter cultivars here can be inconsistent.
