No befores, since the yard is a mess and won't be sorted for at least another year, but a during and an after. That sweet, sweet cinderblock wall is coming down, and will be replaced with a privacy fence. One day.

We live in the steamy south, and are in the process of fixing up a house. I thought we should take a break in June and create an oasis to escape to for the rest of the summer before we got stuck into the new bathroom.

The backyard is a MAJOR work in progress, aka, it is a giant dustbowl right now, so the view from the pool is not great, but it is become the happy hour location of choice.

We went with an 8' diameter pool. It's a saltwater pool with a pump. We used a marine paint and the mosquito net might just be the best feature. It's in the shade all day apart from a little dappled light, so it stays very cool. If you're on the fence, I recommend it!
