Vision Impairment
Increase the contrast of the edge of counters and kitchen knobs and faucets, edges and lips of bath and shower enclosures and faucets, and light switch covers for a start.

Put the doorbell, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector on strobe light alerting systems in every room of the house (usually above the exit door) for a start.
