Thoughts on changing our front doors?

My clients recently closed on this beautiful home. He's making several updates and is considering these doors on the front of this home. Looking for opinions on whether the doors will work well with this style of architecture. He's also replacing several windows on the backside of the house to take advantage of the huge views this home offers. Thoughts on this style of doors for the front? Thank you in advance!

We need the considered door images. No photos of them ?

Apologies the picture did not load, but here's a picture of the doors.

I am not a pro by any means, but my first reaction was that it doesn't really fit the style of the house. But I have to ask advice all the time because I don't trust my gut..so I could be totally wrong :) Beautiful house , awesome door!

I can't tell from the first image what's wrong with the door that's there?

That kind of steel door is beautiful, but also has modern-ish lines, and I don't think it's going to complement the other features of the house. Additionally, I personally wouldn't want a clear glass door like that unless delivery people, neighbors, etc., had to be buzzed into a private, gated, walled courtyard.

I wouldn't want people to be able to see so clearly into the house.

That’s a very cool door, but creepers like to creep, and I would not want to be so exposed to the creeps who may come along. Or sales people, or the Amazon person delivering my package when I’m walking by in my pajamas.

    I’m not a pro though!

I think this door is totally wrong for this house.

Even if you paint out all the other windows black, this door is too contemporary.

Too bad he can’t change the lot size. These houses are built so incredibly close together. The proposed door doesn’t match the style of the home IMO.

As others have said, it doesn't fit the style of the house. And also, I agree 100% with what Mrs S and Cindy R said about the lack of privacy. I have a solid front door with two very narrow sidelites on either side. Every person who rings the bell/knocks on the door is peering through those little sidelites, and there have even been some who do not ring the doorbell or have any delivery or anything, but come up and peer in. The wonders of doorbell cameras - you'd be surprised at the activity at front doors that you had no idea about. I put up window treatments on those sidelites. Had to. I cannot imagine an entire naked front door like what is pictured.
