Please help with advice on mantle and facing suggestions. We have an oak mantle with cream colored facing in our family room. I would like to change/replace with white for an updated look. I want something that is timeless and classic and don’t know what to do about the facing. I am considering keeping the existing cream marble facing but it has some staining on hearth that I’m not sure if cleaned would come out. Also I’m a little afraid that the cream would come off as dirty against the white mantle. Please help with timeless looks/ideas. Thank you.
