Good question! This is a Crossvine (Bignonia capreolata). They can grow anywhere from 30 to 50 feet long along trellises, walls, or fences using tendrils to climb. They love full sun to part shade and are evergreen here in Tucson, AZ but can be grown as semi-evergreen perennials in zones 6-7.
