Crocosmia and very likely C. 'Lucifer'. This is the 3rd time this week I have heard of deer eating them. I have a major problem with deer and mine have never been touched, of course they are too busy feasting on Hosta and.....The hummingbirds ignore everything else when these are in bloom.

ETA: I am surprised to hear of the deer issues as well. Deer will eat just about any flower that appears in my garden but won't touch the crocosmia. It is usually included on deer resistant plant lists.

It was originally bought as "deer proof" but they seem to love it.

As with frequently mutating rose fungal diseases Your Mileage May Vary - with deer the only thing you can depend on is effectively fencing them out. They even do sampling wherein a newly encountered plant is browsed to see if they will like it. Also stiffly built plants they pretty much never touch otherwise can still be spoiled by bucks using them to get velvet off.
