Unexpected Christmas in July

Amaryllis are generally sold around Christmastime here. I got this Aphrodite around Christmas 2018 and it bloomed quite nicely. I followed some advice I saw on Amaryllis Man on youtube to pot it after it was done blooming and then as soon as it was warm enough in our climate, put them outside and fertilize. I put all my Christmas amaryllis outside in early June, in a fairly shady spot, gave them some bulb fertilizer and top-dressed with worm castings. I figured they would acquire some leaves and the bulb would grow over the Summer. But I never expected one would bloom! I went outside the other day to water and lo and behold Aphrodite bloomed. Something is really eating it but it's still a huge and pleasant surprise.
