I don't sense a problem... in comparison though to a slender, delicate look - just a suggestion: manage to make thermostat and other items there not dark... and the 2 pieces at stairs too.... show more, a photo from farther back? :)

You know how they tell you to wear black to look slimmer??????????? That's what will happen to the spindles. They will look thinner.

Are you sure this is the right layout of furnishings for this room? Your TV shoved in the corned looks uncomfortable in that position.

Your interesting sofa fabric doesn't work with the soft yellow on your walls from the picture that I am seeing.

If you don't want to paint the brick on the fireplace, at least this paint color would have been better for your walls.

This narrow room is a challenge. The TV pulls out and swivels. The whole interior was painted that light yellow when we bought the house. Daunting project to paint, but I am interested if you've got a name for that beige, Beverly.

So that looks like the best solution for the room although, I might place the TV right in front of the window.

Here are some stands to hold the TV. Now that I have cut cable, I have no boxes. Just a Fire Stick on the back of the TV from Amazon. Gosh I hate the idea of buying a piece of furniture to house a couple of those boxes.

Best I could do on the colors. At least it will give you a jumping off point.
