and i am wondering of your flowers look like the library pix ... just 2 foot above the clump.. and deep purple ...

and then i wondered if yours was rounded and puckered enough ...

The young plant looks Francee from a distance. I looked it up on the hosta library. It's a Tony Avent plant! Was it a good size when you bought it it? Where did you get it? His plants are supposed to do very well in the South

Just a while before I lost so many hosta, I started a list of his plants and decided to start collecting the ones I thought were especially nice.

I just planted this hosta last year and unfortunately I bought it from a big box store. I know they are Notorious for mislabeling. I live in Milwaukee WI so can’t give info about the south, but it has done well here. I sure hope it’s what it say it is.
