From what I can make out I'd leave the plant in peace and not mess with it.

it happens when the humidity is too low or not enough water. i'd suggest to tent it in plastic (can have a few holes on top) - but then do not put it in direct sun. the closed leaves will not open, leave them be, do not cut them off. the new growth will come from the bottom of the petiole of the top leaf. if it has enough humidity and moisture at the roots, it'll open up ok.

you could try to tease the furled leaf very gently, but it's glued usually (so to speak). you need to spray it or wrap it in damp napkin . then it's easier to try unfurl it. it might do it on it's own. if you just try to open it forcefully most likely it'll break.
