I planted Waterslide last year. It's still small, but had decent growth for a first year hosta. I think we'll both be happy with it.

LS Paisley Print took a while to get big, and now it's almost all green. Maybe it wants more light.

Yeah, Lakeside Paisley Print has been a very slow grower for me. Mine has more of a ruffled edge to it. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow. It looks pretty good this year despite the lack of shade in the area now. But it's still rather small.

I like that Waterslide a lot! It's very cute.

Thanks for the input about LSPP. Do you think I should overwinter it the garage? I don’t really know how to do that. The Waterslide has a beautiful blue when mature. Can’t wait to plant them!

Mine is planted in the yard. I am in Zone 5 in Colorado. I'm sure it would be fine in your area in the yard. I don't overwinter hostas in pots. I have overwintered them in a veggie raised bed.

It was mentioned that not only amount of moisture is important but amount of sun and warmth. I. e. If I put my pots on south side of the house, it would not survive well as pots will be heated by winter sun.

My shed while not sunny is not a good place to overwinter hostas. Many people do with success though.

LSPP has been a good grower for me I got a 4 inch pot and another that was much bigger 3 years ago both are large but the smaller one is now larger. I will post pics in a day or two.
