I would get a couple of pieces of complementary art and stack them on that wall; not too small, though. Looks like you have a nice piece on the table now..is that breakable?

Instead of art, how about something in an odd number that you can arrange on the wall? Something like these could work.

Do you mind a dissenting opinion? I would do two things to add some interest to a linear transitional space. I think your light is too small and in conflict with the shape of the table. I would hang an oversized canvas (tall) on both walls and panel out the rest of the space with a simple grid patter and then paint it all out. I would hang Picture lights over both canvases to highlight them and provide another source of light in the space.

I would replace your chandelier with a longer one that doesn't block the art but provides a lot of light. I have attached some pictures as examples.

For warmth and interest, I would hang drapes on your windows.

I have kittens so that's not happening .
