I was waiting to see what others would say. Polaskia chichipe is a cactus I have a difficult time iding. I have this pic in my head of what they look like and they can differ from one to another, imo of course;).
Mine looks totally different from the ones above.
The spines on the Op’s cactus is spot on for P. chichipe, but the ribs aren’t according to Llifle. I have noticed ribs can be off sometimes on cactus, but the spines usually don’t lie;).

Thank you both. cactusmcharris, are you thinking Stenocereus pruinosus?
The reason I’m saying P. chichipe, mine looks very similar to the one in the link below; it even exhibits a slight frosty/powdery wave-like pattern, which is not very evident in the pictures I posted.
Kara’s has red edging that mine lacks, but is that something that shows up more in winter? I’m not sure.
