We are building a pool and in ground spa (hot tub). The hot tub will be square or rectangle and dump into the pool. What dimensions are best for comfort, practicality, etc? Is there such a thing as too big?

We are thinking about 7x7, 7x8, or 7x8 1/2. It’s a little complicated because we are fitting it into a tricky space, and we need enough walkways etc. Will 7x8 look weird, so we should go with 6x8 If we want one side to be 8?

The pool is a rectangle with a smaller rectangle alcove that the hot tub dumps into.
