Hi Everyone, I'm renting a great one bedroom apartment, but the front door essentially opens to the bedroom. It goes...front door, mudroom that holds full size washer and dryer, a second door that opens to bedroom. I'm not sure how to arrange so that there is some separation or something without compromising the open layout and other saying than "Hi, welcome to my apartment, please excuse the layout as you have to walk through my bedroom to get the the living area." Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The first photo provided is what you would see immediately walking past the mudroom door and into the actual apartment. The second photo gives you an idea of the pathway between the bedroom that opens into the living area (when you make a right after entering the front door, through the bedroom).
