Is Tiger Swirl a large bloom, like parent King George?

Really pretty Sherry. I enjoy your photos of Hemstitched. It really is appropriately named. I am glad to see Cherokee Star. I ordered it for my sister this summer. My mother was part Cherokee and sometimes participated in some of the legs of the Trail of Tears memorial ride; my sister has planted a memorial daylily garden dedicated to my mother so I added some “Cherokee“ named lilies to her garden. It is a really pretty shade of red.

I like Tiger Swirl and the edge on Hemstitched. Our Autumn Minaret is blooming too. I am going to try to set some pods on it this year.

Your pic of Autumn Minaret is so pretty with all those scapes and blooms. I agree that the color on Cherokee Star is rich looking. Nice deep red.

Nancy, please let us know if you have success setting pods on Autumn Minaret. I’m curious if you can do it, I never see pods on mine.

Nice red shade on Cherokee Star. I had gotten Autumn Minaret years ago, the bloom looked right so I never thought any more about it. It bloomed more midseason though, so I should have. And last year or so I learned it is a tall one, mine only blooms maybe 36" or so. It blooms heavily though so it will be staying
