No gray. Choose a classic color that would have been done in the period. What colors do you like?

A medium salmon pink, or emerald green. The Victorians loved color, and used lots of it.

I love the very pale aqua ..or pale lemon yellow in these settings..crisp clear fresh organic colors ...not the more sophisticated designer variations

As localeater mentioned "Are you going to run the black hex up the wall behind the tub?" to which I'll add and everywhere else the vinyl is now? Or perhaps a different tile in those areas? That would be a big determinant regarding colour.

I have nothing to add but to say my husband’s aunt and uncle lived in a 3 story Victorian house on Schiller Street there in Alameda. Beautiful area with these old Victorian houses.

I think navy would look gorgeous. Hale Navy, SW Naval are both lovely.

The hex tile will just be on the floor and the vinyl up the walls will be removed. The original tongue and groove (beadboard) is behind and we are planning to restore it as best as we can and paint it white.

FYI the hex tiles are white.
