I just moved into my new house. I plan to paint my dining room a nice color. I thought I should place focus on the French doors leading to outside. On the opposite wall is my beautiful archway where the wall is paneled with a 1/2 inch type of wood. I'm not sure what I should do...if I strip and stain it, wouldn't it be too much focus for the small room? Should I try to hide this potentially beautiful wood by painting it the same color as the other walls? Would love to hear your thoughts on this...
