What’s your method for hand washing dishes?
Comments (86)I have a really big farm sink so I can stack the dishes on the right side and fill a plastic dish pan with soapy water on the left. Then I rinse and drop in the silverware, then rinsed dishes and small items. Then I rinse and wash the glasses, then the dishes which have been soaking followed by the silverware. Clean glasses and dishes go in a dish drainer on the counter along with the silverware. If I have too much silverware I put them wet onto a dish towel on the left side of the counter. If I have pots and pans I put them in the used dish water to soak for a few minutes. While that's going on I take a dish towel and dry everything else and put it away. Then I wash and dry the pots and pans and put them away, rinse the sink and voila everything is done! I do exactly the same thing every time and it makes washing dishes stress free and even enjoyable....See MoreSoap dispenser in new sink or no?
Comments (69)I love the combination I have been using for well over a year now and it has been reliable. The dispenser is high quality and works perfectly. The Never Mt dispenser kit makes it sooo nice because all you do is switch out your soap under the counter. No filling little bottles! I purchased both of these on Amazon and it looks like they are still available. I also purchased the one gallon size of Dawn dish liquid so that it lasts a looong time! Highly recommend this combo! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HFNF74M/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_S3pMEbR4S8683 Never -Mt Soap Dispenser Kit - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002FJ9LBS/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_x5pMEbDY5ZBSF...See Morehelp me decide what to do for soap dispenser in new kitchen
Comments (36)My last house I had the in the sink one and I loved it, used it for dish soap, squirt on the sponge and quick wash. Now I don't have one. I have a Dawn foaming dispenser for dishes and a BBW foaming dispenser for hands...I can change the hand one out for the seasons with all the different choices they have. On a side note...to save some $$ you can buy regular, non foaming soap, and decant about an 1"-1.5" of soap into the foamer bottles (once emptied of their original content) and just add water. Voila-foamy soap at a much lower cost! I use the same foamer bottle of Dawn and when it empties, just add more Dawn and water....See MoreIs a soap dispenser worth it?
Comments (32)"@ Joseph - I want to make sure I understood - it’s better to get a built in soap dispenser ? We will have our sink in our island with a quartz countertop. Which built in soap dispenser do you recommend? Thank you !" It depends on how you live. If you never dribble water or set a soap bottle on top of water/soap, then you'll be fine. If your not as fastidious, you'd better get a built-in. Any of the soap dispensers that come with your faucet and match will be fine. Even if it wears out, it takes 5 minutes to change. You aren't buffing/poulticing a soap mark out of estone or granite in 5 minutes, believe me....See MoreDebbie M
