We painted the whole interior Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray with pure white trim, updated to Calcutta Quartz, a large stainless undermount sink and simple white subway tiles.

A great update! Those are very pretty counters!

I also like your new stools - the previous ones blocked the view - almost made the island look two-tiered.

The white and brown play off each other so well. Such a great look.

Very nice. I'm glad you didn't paint the cabinets.

    Beautiful refresh!

Maintaining the wood finish on the cabinets keeps the space warm and inviting. Incorporating the lighter countertop and eliminating the dark backsplash were an effective way to brighten and update the space.

    Great design decisions!

Hi- like your cabinet color, what wood and stain is that? Great kitchen!

I have brown cabinets as well (similar color to yours) and am looking for a new wall paint color. I will definitely consider Edgecomb Grey after seeing your pictures! I too have white subway tile but mine has a subtle crackle - it looks like snow. Great job!
