Its directly in the heart of the slab so I was dissapointed! Very noticeable in person but wasnt sure what to expect... :( not my forever home so I wont be losing sleep over it!

I didn't even notice it at first glance, so I think you're good. You say it was in the middle of the slab, but did you not approve the templating to see where the seams would be? Overall it looks good, you won't notice it in a few weeks.

I was aware of the seam but they said that was the only option.. Hopefully I can cover it with a flower vase or something!

I think visually it is as good as possible. It’s a bummer that the veining doesn’t match up better, but it’s kind of the nature of the beast. I have a peninsula, so have a seam that is very similar. Does it seem quite smooth when you run your hand over it?

Yes, seam feels smooth just the unmatched veining is what is disappointing to me but other than that the seam is good!

If it feels smooth, no gaps, etc, then I think it’s been done well. My mismatched seam bothers me less as time goes on. Unfortunately, the mismatch is just one of those unfortunate consequences of countertops with veins. You’re not alone!

I can't even see the seam, and the veining is so light that it's hardly noticeable.

It’s as perfect as human beings creating seams in irregularly pattered man made products can create. I mean, stellar. A+ quality.

I still can't see whats wrong...heck, I can't even SEE a seam. If there's a seam on that top, I bow down to your fabricator. WOW! Really good.

I looked harder...I see what you are referring to. Still looks fine to me. This is how I explain it to my customers. Go bake two different marbled cakes. Cut a slice from each and try to match up the marbling. Not easy to do.
