Verbesina virginica

Depending in what site you're looking at, some will say virginica has opposite leaf arangement, and other sites say alternate, and like I've mentioned before, this genus is variable in leaf arrangement. It would have been nice to see clear photos of the stem and both sides of the leaves, but it appears the small amount of stem that I can see is ribbed, and the winged petioles seal the deal.
