We have a simple living room that is our primary entertaining and family play space with our 2 small children. We need a new couch because the one pictured is now quite worn and uncomfortable. With 2 small kiddos, I'm tired of clutter and so am looking to simplify the look of our living room (ie, get rid of some of or all of our chairs). I am considering a sectional versus two sofas and am looking for some thoughts. Though I like the look of a sectional and the coziness of it, 2 sofas are more versatile. If I did the latter, can I do to different sofas? I've attached a photo of two I've thought of combining, do they work together? Our style is eclectic but I like the clean, simple lines of MCM. If I do 2 sofas, should use an "L" arrangement or place them opposite? Should I do 2 of the same sofa? Just looking for some thoughts as I'm struggling with this redesign.
