All insects are on rapid decline, not only ladybugs. Mono-culture agriculture, habitat loss, heavy pesticide use are among main drivers of the decline. "Over 1 billion pounds of pesticides are used in the United States (US) each year and approximately 5.6 billion pounds are used worldwide ".
