Some Monday blooms and garden winding down

Took the opportunity to take a few pics this morning before heading out to work on cleaning all the moss and weeds from the walkways and then start on some of the garden beds. Hope it stays overcast.

JELLYFISH JEALOUSY is still blooming. Do you think JJ is a bud builder?

SUMMERTIME IDYLL with another flush of blooms but still many blooms to go.

CONCRETE BLONDE on its last couple of blooms. Once I moved it last fall to a new spot it really has done much better and what I typically had seen but not last year. Giving it more room seems to be a good thing.

The HOLO DECK has really put on a show even after moving it last fall to a new spot. Getting down to just a few more blooms to go.

ROUEN CATHEDRAL only the second bloom to open with several still to go.

MEMORABLE KISS still blooming and I noticed it has light and darker blooms.

EARTH AND ALL STARS almost done.

and here are some pics of what the gardens look like as it winds down. Hoping to clean all of this up this week if the weather cooperates and my energy level doesn't give out.

Still blooming is Kentucky Lucky, Flying Trapeze, Evidence Of Aliens, Truly Angelic, Self Determination, Margo Reed Indeed, Tahiti Sweetie, Rambunctious Rosie.

Time to get outside and get started. Have a great day.

You still have so many blooming. Love these clumps! I still love Summertime Idyll and yours looks darker than most images I have seen. So funny about your garden fork-it just became garden art!! We are still having heat index temps in triple digits so I envy your time in the garden-that does not happen here! Good luck with the garden rearranging.

You have so many nice ones that still have lots of blooms to go. Rouen Cathedral will surely be blooming into September for you. I see your shovel stuck in the dirt in one of the pics. Have you already started moving plants around?

I have wondered that as well. I think that it is a bud builder. I don't think that it is a rapid bud builder like Arrogant Bastard, but it is a bud builder none the less. Before I dug into my clump multiple time in the Spring, it would bloom until the end of September. That clump was well established. I just love from a distance, the blooms appear floating in air. Wonderful plant.

You can see how many buds The Holo Deck and Jellyfish Jealousy have had. Rouen Cathedral really is a pretty one. If you still need to clean up those beds, you would be so ashamed of me! And my daylily beds are actually in better shape than usual at this time. It is my iris bed I am working on right now.

No plants being moved yet. That is my garden fork which has not moved since spring.

I did cut back two scapes that had finished blooming on The Holo Deck when I cleaned that bed on Sunday. I did wonder on JellyFish Jealousy as it seems to keep having more buds appearing.

I'm almost done with cleaning the driveway bed and will finish it today. Took out a lot of the purple coneflowers, Queen Anne's Lace, Chicory and some yellow weed thing. Once I finish the weeding of it, I can then choose which plants to move in. Hopefully we get the cool down by midweek.

I can only assume my climate vs Thoroughbreds is causing the deeper color on Summertime Idyll here. Storms today so no garden work which is okay. I need the rest.

I am glad to see Jellyfish Jelousy still blooming since it is a new gift plant and I am keeping it. Summertime Idyll is very prettty, but all of your companion blooms are really standing out to me. It is still lovely in yor garden, Julia.
