how can I hang curtains?

How can I hang curtains for the windows in my living room? As you can see, they’re set in a box bay window like with no space between window and top of box. Its a large window space about 11 ft. I wonder if I can put curtain rod brackets in gap between window and wall though I probably need one or two more in the middle on the window frame. I’d like to put the sofa in this spaceas well.

Grover had a good solution for this, hanging the hooks that hold the rod from the ceiling.

Or you could door Roman shades, or sea grass blinds or plantation shutters.

They can also be hung on the wall outside of the box bay, but your photo doesn't show enough of the space to know if it would work.

There's not really room inside to hang curtains. Blinds or shades would work much better. You'd have to hang curtains outside, if that's what you really want.
