I got a pretty ceramic loaf pan that somehow matches my turquoise backsplash and I put medications in there. I still don't like to have it out all the time, so I try to keep it in my corner cabinet. It's right in front of the clean dish cloths and towels, which I change every morning, so I can never forget to get it out for morning meds. That was the tricky thing to figure out - where to keep it mostly out of sight but where I also wouldn't forget about it. Maybe you can think of a cabinet or drawer you open every morning and/or evening and put the meds there?

Idk if my calendar solution would work for you, as it's a big family calendar, not a notebook calendar. Pre-reno we had a Kazuyuki Ohtsu wall calendar, and post-reno I got a huge picture frame with a mat that matches my turquoise, and I use artist's tape and various dry/wet erase markers to keep it organized. It's hanging on my one blank wall in the kitchen hallway. I keep my markers in my grandma's milk glass hobnail cream pitcher on the counter closest to the calendar. I have also seen shallow caddies for pens and paper mounted to the wall next to a calendar.

This is good, but it's just my husband and me. I print my monthly calendars from my cell phone so I can record changes while on the phone.

What about a decorative basket, either on the counter or on a lower shelf in an upper cabinet?

Alternately, you could use something like a bread box that would fit right into the kitchen while keeping things on the counter and quickly accessible.

I attached my bulletin board to the inside of the cabinet opened most often. Be easy to keep a pen there if I liked. Daily meds next to glassware makes sense to me. Use a minder, fill weekly and there won't be much bulk there.

I do use a weekly minder now! I like all these ideas.
