Help with foyer furnishings

What should I do with my foyer?
This is the mail/package drop zone. Kids toys are under steps; I'm OK with this but open to suggestions. Too big green table has to go, but for now it's getting the job done. Usually I keep a recycling bin under it for junk mail. Space on that part of the wall allows for a 36" piece to fit properly.
