Thank you! That countertop is LG Viatera White Pearl. It is also sold at Menards as "Flaked Pearl". I bought mine through Menards, but it arrived with the "LG White Pearl" label on the back. I knew they were the same but could not find anyone in town who carried the LG White Pearl. Since then I did find a kitchen and bath store that has it. If you live near Menards you can see a large sample in person on one of their kitchen displays.

My Menards has it paired with a poorly chosen glass mosaic tile backsplash - not good with the countertop and not good with wood - go simple with backsplash. Bring one of your cabinet doors and see what you think - I do love it with my oak cabinets. I do not think I saved much $ going through Menards as I had to find my own installer and he was not cheap:)

The White Pearl can look different in different light - but overall it is warm enough for wood cabinets. The small 4 x 4 sample looked busy, but the contrast among the colors is light enough not to be loud.

I originally was going to use white subway tile but switched to cream (alabaster) as it worked better with my cabinets. There are more pics in my "my pics" idea book. Good luck with your refresh!

Most of the more white countertops I've seen are much plainer - I've never felt that my countertop feels plain and my worry before install was that it would be too busy. I do have more pictures in my "my pics" idea book which may help with seeing the big picture. I saw the countertop first on an island display - quite a large piece and that is where I fell for it. My biggest concern was if it would work with my older wood cabinets and I thought about that for quite a while. I have never regretted my choice. My neighbor has LG Viatera Aria which is very similar to the White Pearl but has an additional darker thread running through - it has more movement than the White Pearl if you want to take the movement up a notch.

I have not checked the Menards kitchen displays recently, but not too long ago they still had "Flaked Pearl" on a large kitchen display and if you live near a Menards you can call and ask - ask for "Flaked Pearl". Then you could see a large piece and bring a cabinet door with you - though I have seen it on white cabinets too and looks very good if that is the direction you are going. If you do not live near a Menards you could ask a Kitchen and Bath store if they know of any new homes that have used it - perhaps a home still on the market and see it that way. As I mentioned above, my local Menards had the display kitchen with a busy, dated small mosaic backsplash so look beyond that if you see similar in your area.

Hi @jhmarie - I was hoping you can help....my wife and I are seriously considering the LG "white pearl" quartz for our kitchen but we are wondering if it will be too "plain" or "dull" - I was wondering your thoughts on it because nowhere near us has a big slab to view in person. We want something that isnt plain old "White" but something that has grey / white mix, more towards white and thought white pearl was a good potential choice but we are struggling with it!

If you happen to be able to show another pic or two of your white pearl quartz countertops I would really appreciate it!
