Hi. I’m planning to renovate a small (6x9) hall bathroom upstairs. The other bathroom upstairs (the master) has a Carrara marble tiled shower and a nova blue limestone floor. I’m trying to decide if I should stick with marble in the hall bath or go with something different, like white subway tile with gray grout. I guess my main concern is keeping the two rooms similar enough so it looks intentional. But I’m also concerned about more marble upkeep. It’s a 1920 townhouse. Both rooms will have white fixtures and trim and pedestal sinks. The hall bath will likely have a tub.
