We are in construction & have a vaulted dining room ceiling that is 17ft at center down to 14 ft at sides. The room is 14 x 12 and we’re looking at light fixtures. There will be canned lights though I know that doesn’t give sufficient lighting from that distance. How large in diameter should the light fixture be? I had chosen a light airy chandelier that was 24” in diameter(97” max chain length) but now after seeing the framing, feel it may be too small. Also, do manufacturers typically make chains long enough to drop low enough over the table? TIA
