Hello! Right off the bat, please center the desk with the center painting. The desk and flanking storage should move over to the right to be centered with the art work. Also, looks like he needs more storage. I love how he has bins right now to hide all of his toy pieces, that's perfect! Maybe either get 1 more of those OR get a larger desktop surface so he has a clearer work top. Another idea is to replace the art work with a large floating shelf surface that he can display his completed projects. They can act as the art. I'm sure the art work can be situated somewhere else in the room. Good luck!

The lack of punctuation is confusing me. Is your son a kid who is growing up and you want to make this an older boy's room (son's kid-room)? Or does this belong to your grandson (son's kid's room)?

More pics & more explanation of your goals for the room needed. A sketch of the floorplan and a list of what is definitely staying would get you specific advice.

The age of your son if that is who it is is the first thing we need to know. Does he have interests what are they? The more info we get the better.
