We have had several star blocks so far, so I chose something quite simple and easy. I haven't been back to the sewing machine yet, so I needed easy.

It is called Broken Sugar Bowl. It is a quick block but I found I had to pay attention to placement of the units. In fact, I had to redo one.

I usually read Bonnie Hunter's blog every day and one night last week, I dreamed she was doing a workshop in my house. It must have been a small one. And you know how she always ends the blog with a quilt and a quote. Well, the day after my dream, the quilt she used was this very pattern. Spooky!!
