Pipe fence support

Hi, this is very simple, minimal yet elegant fence. Great idea and execution!

If you remember could you share the thickness of the pipe and how it is mounted? Is it held in place by a concrete footing? Is so could you share some how deep and wide it is?

This fence is a 1-1/2" pipe with the welded cap at the top. We welded the pipe to a solid steel plate at the bottom and made in 6 ' and 8' sections. The section then was fastened to the top of a footing when 8" of concrete was poured over the plate and the bottom 8" of the pipe.

Sounds very solid! Any specific pipe used to get it to rust and get that beautiful patina? Thanks again for sharing the details, its much appreciated. I only commented on the fence but the house is really beautifully done. Love the rammed earth walls, and many other details! Congrats!
